Arctic Alex: Hello, my name is Alex. I am just another kid trying to make it in the world. Currently I am a college student studying Fine Arts and Illustration. I was inspired to create this blog after my Environmental Science class talked about joining conservation groups. I looked into that, but then I realized that although I cared about all the other conservation efforts, I had been especially passionate about one since I was a child. Saving Antarctica. A lofty goal I realize. But not impossible. So what does a college student REALLY know about Antarctica anyways? You may ask. And the answer is not a whole heck of a lot, considering I've never been there (yet.) In part I am doing this to become more aware of what is happening on the Earth, especially in those places we do not see. Our world is dying, and it is up to us to do something about it.
